ABOUT US
Willowbrook Manor English Teahouse and Farm Stay is all about care and connections. Being my home, I welcome every person that visits as a new-found friend. The peaceful setting, with pastoral and mountain views invites guests to connect with nature and with themselves. Sharing tea is the best way I know to connect with others. The manor boasts four stately guest rooms for overnight stays. Tea and scones are served daily in the elegant tea room. Scenic summer bike tours along the Cascade Trail share the rich history of East Skagit Valley, traveling through forest, farmland, and quaint little towns. Special High Tea events are hosted four times a year as well as private parties and celebrations. SWAN Foundation (Serving Women Across Nations) is the giving arm of Willowbrook and we gather the community together for six annual tea fundraisers. They are work parties in the chamomile field that raise awareness and funds for women and children in crisis. The tranquility of Willowbrook farm provides rejuvenation. Many have found it to be a healing ground.
OUR IMPACT
Stewardship to our planet and to society guides the workings of Willowbrook farm. We practice sustainable farming and produce our own electricity. The salmon spawning creek at Willowbrook is a testament to the crucial need for clean water. ADA accessibility and parking allows guests with mobility issues to attend tea events and we give special attention to dietary restrictions to ensure that all can enjoy the special experience of English Tea. The chamomile field at Willowbrook engages the community in the fight against homelessness. Partnering with local homeless shelters, and relief organizations, we host tea / work parties that gather people together to enjoy tea and scones on fine china, then work side by side in the fragrant chamomile field to raise awareness of the plight of women and children in crisis and raise funds for them. It is a healthy way to make a change. We are working hands and warming hearts through the soothing herb of chamomile.
