The Global Meaningful Travel Map
Organización Ecoturística Amigos de San Lorenzo Los Rapaces
OUR EXPERIENCES
We offer visitors a variety of experiences to immerse themselves in the natural beauty and cultural richness of our region. This includes hiking along scenic trails and engaging in birdwatching activities to observe the diverse avian species that inhabit our forests.
For those seeking aquatic adventures, we provide boat rides along the Lagarto River or Gatun Lake, where guests can enjoy swimming in the refreshing waters of the lake or relaxing on the beach. Another highlight of our tours is a journey along the Chagres River, which includes a visit to the San Lorenzo Monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the opportunity to swim at Tortuguilla Beach.
Visitors can also explore the agricultural heritage of our area through visits to local coffee and banana production farms. Here, they can learn about the artisanal production process, participate in coffee tasting sessions, and gain insights into traditional farming practices.
Additionally, guests can partake in a local cooking class, where they’ll learn to prepare authentic dishes using fresh ingredients sourced from the region. Throughout their stay, we also offer night tours along forest trails, providing a unique opportunity to listen to the sounds of nocturnal wildlife and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural wonders that surround us.
