This data will make significant contributions to the study of the reefs.
ABOUT US
Coral Restoration Foundation is the largest coral reef restoration organization in the world. CRF is actively restoring coral reefs on a massive scale, educating others on the importance of our oceans, and using science to further coral research and coral reef monitoring techniques.
OUR IMPACT
We manage one of the biggest coral restorations efforts in the world, covering 1.5 acres of sea floor which contains over 500 coral trees. We grow and return genetically diverse, critically endangered corals to restore reef sites to a healthy state at a rate of over 45,000 reef ready corals every year. Doing this means returning genetic diversity to our world. Our nurseries are home to 1,305 different genotypes across 20 different types of coral species. We are a resource for other organizations all around the world who desire to put a positive impact on coral reefs.
