ABOUT US
We are a small family-owned vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, founded in 2005. We are a LIVE certified vineyard as well as a certified sustainable family forest. Fairsing’s forty-three acres of Pinot noir and Chardonnay are planted on south-southeast facing slopes ranging from 400 to 700 feet in elevation. Grapevines thrive in a complex confluence of soils, topology, and microclimates. We also manage about 100 acres of forest on our land. We have 3 pillars of commitment in our business: heritage, stewardship, and hospitality. When we talk about heritage we mean both our own family heritage and that of the people who managed the land before us: the Kalapuya

OUR IMPACT
Fairsing is LIVE certified and committed to sustainable farming practices. We are specifically focused on maximizing the health of the soils through minimizing tilling, avoiding use of herbicides and pesticides, composting, and planting cover crops. We are committed to re-forestation and creating oak savannah habitat and have planted over 20,000 trees since 2005, including many Oregon White Oak Trees.

We also are participants in the Oregon Bee Friendly Wine project and committed to improving pollinator habitat, and have released multiple re-habilitated bird of prey on our property and created welcoming perches and houses for them.
