Fundación Ciudadanía Multicultural - Mescladís

Experience immersive cooking workshops that celebrate cultural diversity through traditional dishes, personal migration stories, and community engagement.

**This organization has multiple locations and experiences**

OUR EXPERIENCES
We offer cooking workshops featuring traditional Spanish and Catalan cuisine, as well as recipes from around the world, led by current students or graduates of our social and labor inclusion program Cuinant Oportunitats.

Travelers can experience the real-life atmosphere of our training kitchen, learning different preparations while engaging in conversations with the workshop hosts. Each session highlights personal migration stories and the cultural significance of each dish. These workshops create a space for cultural exchange, mutual learning, and a celebration of diversity through shared flavors and experiences.

ABOUT US
Mescladís, created in 2005, aims to contribute to the integration of immigrants and native citizens through economic, educational, and cultural initiatives that promote coexistence, the right to migrate, and social and environmental justice. It is a non-profit initiative and a reference in the Social and Solidarity Economy, fostering social inclusion, promoting sustainable practices and consumption habits in the HORECA sector, and valuing diversity.

OUR IMPACT
Thanks to this support, we are also able to develop community-based activities that are free and open to the public, promoting intercultural dialogue, community engagement, and social cohesion. These include cooking workshops, cultural gatherings, reflection circles, and live music events that bring people together across different backgrounds.

In addition to our educational and community work, we are committed to environmental sustainability through responsible sourcing, food waste reduction, and sustainable practices in the HORECA sector. Our impact model demonstrates a holistic approach that connects social inclusion, education, cultural exchange, and environmental responsibility in a real and measurable way.
