The Global Meaningful Travel Map
Howth Adventures
OUR EXPERIENCES
We are a family-run regenerative tourism operator offering guided hikes, electric bikes & boat tours of the Howth peninsula. We go out of our way to create exciting, meaningful, personal and memorable, adventure experiences connecting the stories, people, land, sea and sky in Howth - the Capital of Adventure. Our tours provide experiences that both educate and engage visitors.
ABOUT US
Howth Adventures seeks to develop adventure tourism to protect and enhance the coastal wilderness, natural beauty and culture of the Howth peninsula forever. Our mission is to create the digital network & global awareness of your regenerative dream adventure as part of a Howth experience. Our leaders are all Howth natives, who grew up here and share their own unique insight and are your key to getting a real and tangible connection wih the peninsula and community.
OUR IMPACT
Howth Adventures curates and distributes outdoor experiences in Howth to boost visitor spend and enhance the quality and impact of tourism for the local community. We share Howth’s beauty, history, and nature with locals and international guests. Our local guides create meaningful connections that inspire care for the peninsula’s biodiversity and culture.
In partnership with the UNESCO Dublin Bay Biosphere, we engage schools, businesses, and stakeholders to help preserve and enrich our community for future generations.
We’re proud to be an Autism Champion accredited by AsIAm and the Howth Sutton Autism Friendly Community, and are committed to inclusivity. We’re training guides, creating visual supports, and providing sensory aids—just the beginning of making our adventures truly for everyone.

We are very proud to be recently recognised and accredited as an Autism Champion by AsIAm, Ireland's national autism charity and Howth Sutton Autism Friendly Community.
To achieve this, we have been working towards better serving our autistic clients (and those with other neurodivergence) by training and upskilling our guides, developing visual descriptions for our activities and providing sensory aids. This is just the start of the journey. We have lots of ideas for developing more inclusive offerings and look forward to creating adventures for all.
