OUR EXPERIENCES
Located in Phoenix, The Joy Bus Diner™ is a 100% nonprofit restaurant that’s helping make our Valley a tastier, happier place, one meal at a time. Every cent earned will be used to support The Joy Bus, a local charity that’s been bringing chef-inspired meals and caring conversations to cancer patients Valley-wide. The Joy Bus collects and cooks donated food for volunteers to deliver to patients around the Valley in need of a friendly face and an open ear.

ABOUT US
Founded and operated by Jennifer Caraway, The Joy Bus Diner™ is the culmination of her five-plus year effort to improve the lives of local cancer patients through the power of a hand delivered meal and face-to-face interaction. Our mission is to ease the daily struggles of people home bound with cancer by providing fresh made meals and doing home visits with them (over 500 per month currently).

OUR IMPACT
Our community is a big part of who we are. Local farmers donate produce, multiple vendors donate local bread, coffee, meat, etc. We also use honey and jams from a local company for the diner and meals. We use natural packaging for delivered meals and in our diner. Everything in our diner is made fresh daily, down to our fresh squeezed juices. We believe food is medicine and want our guests, and the patients we make meals for, to enjoy the best quality food available.
