ABOUT US
Red Rocks Rwanda is an eco-tourism company and social enterprise dedicated to community development, wildlife preservation, and promoting sustainable tourism. Our mission revolves around integrating cultural and community programs into our tourism model, providing local communities with opportunities to thrive while promoting environmental conservation. Through our pioneering cultural tourism initiatives, we actively engage local communities in the tourism supply chain, supporting their development and empowering them to help themselves.

Our goal is to be a pioneer in responsible tourism in Rwanda and uplift local communities residing near Volcanoes national park pride by gaining from the gorilla business.

OUR IMPACT
We leverage tourism as a tool for conservation and community empowerment. By integrating local artisans, farmers, and rural producers into the tourism industry, our organization ensures that communities living near Volcanoes National Park—home to the endangered mountain gorillas—directly benefit from sustainable income opportunities.

We blend storytelling and cultural events with environmental messaging through initiatives like “Friday Nights,” “Twataramye” storytelling gatherings, and annual cultural-eco festivals. These platforms bring together community members, researchers, and tourists—creating a fusion of tradition and conservation that strengthens local identity and fosters shared responsibility for the volcanic landscapes.
