No Taste Like Home

No Taste Like Home

Experience foraging education with local cuisine, permaculture, and community engagement. Year-round tours foster a deep connection with nature.

OUR EXPERIENCES
We are a foraging education company. We offer classes and courses on wild foods. Participants have the option of having their finds prepared at one of eight local restaurants. Our public programs are "pay what you can." Volunteers are helping to create our permaculture demonstration garden.

ABOUT US
Our mission is to help people feel more at home in nature. By experiencing abundance rather than scarcity, we can move from fear to trust, becoming better able to collaborate with others.

OUR IMPACT
We educate on permaculture, which goes beyond organic and even regenerative agriculture. We employ people from disadvantaged communities as much as possible. To date, these have included staff who identify as LGBTQIA+. We have actively recruited among BIPOC as well. Most of all, we give people a tangible experience of our reliance upon nature for our daily sustenance.
