OUR EXPERIENCES
The Harbour Air Group consists of Harbour Air Seaplanes, Whistler Air and Saltspring Air, and is one of the largest all-seaplane airlines in the world. Operating daily scheduled flights, it is considered a vital transportation link along coastal British Columbia. Many of our bases also offer flightseeing and tour options for passengers to experience the beauty of BC. We offer private local scenic tours, Classic and Extended Panoramas, Fly ‘n’ Drive, and Fly ‘n’ Dine tours with options to Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Nanaimo, Richmond, Salt Spring Island, and Sechelt. From 20-minute panoramic flights to day trips, there is an option to suit any traveler.

ABOUT US
A lot has changed since we started flying B.C’s coast back in 1982. We’ve grown from a two seaplane airline servicing the forestry industry to one of the world’s largest all-seaplane airlines in the world, flying over 500,000 passengers a year (prior to March 2020). Throughout the company’s growth and memorable milestones, what hasn’t changed is our commitment to safety, team spirit, innovation and service. By October 2023, Harbour Air will evolve its products in order to be a reliable transportation option in every single calendar month in the year due to our focus on innovation and maintaining our team based-culture.

OUR IMPACT
As part of our vision, we’ve always believed in doing the right thing for our people, our communities and for our environment. This drove us to become North America’s first fully carbon neutral airline in 2007. But we can be bolder. Our ePlane project will ultimately turn our 40+ fleet of seaplanes from carbon-neutral to carbon-zero! We know that the electrification of our fleet is the next necessary step to truly make a difference in our environmental and economic goals. It is better for the communities we serve and it also to gives our passengers a better way to travel. It’s a bold step in making a big difference for our planet. In addition to its #FlyCaronNeutral carbon offsetting program, Harbour Air has also introduced a number of other initiatives to reduce its impact and become carbon neutral. The airline implemented a reusable, paperless ticketing system, introduced a web-based system for payroll and invoicing, installed a one-acre green roof, 50 solar panels and four large beehives on the recently re-modeled Victoria Harbour Airport, and has been named one of Canada’s best managed companies for eight consecutive years.
