ABOUT US
Boston By Foot is a non-profit educational organization committed to inspiring locals and visitors to discover and appreciate the diverse stories of Boston by exploring the cityscape together. We envision a city whose residents and visitors have a deep understanding and appreciation of the city’s complex and diverse history, geography, and communities.

OUR IMPACT
We have become a programming partner of local cultural institutions and corporations. We use our expertise to create new offerings that align with our mission. One example of this is the Neighborhood Histories Project. Another example of this is the Where and When in Boston Digital History Project.

Our tours are researched, written and delivered by members of our diverse community of nearly 200 volunteers. We seek to educate, inspire and engage in meaningful dialogue with locals and visitors alike.
