Keep Pinellas Beautiful

Hands-on volunteer experiences that restore habitats, reduce litter, and connect travelers with local conservation and community stewardship efforts.

OUR EXPERIENCES

Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Inc. (KPB) is a 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit with over 30 years of experience leading community-based environmental initiatives across Pinellas County. We work in close collaboration with residents, schools, municipalities, businesses, and other nonprofits to foster a culture of stewardship and sustainable action. We provide hands-on volunteer opportunities for residents and visitors alike that address litter, habitat restoration, invasive species removal, native planting, and access to nature-based education.

ABOUT US

As Pinellas County’s local Keep America Beautiful affiliate, our mission is to conserve and beautify the natural environment through community engagement and education. We focus on four environmental areas: litter prevention, waste reduction, conservation, and beautification and community greening. Since inception, KPB has successfully organized volunteers, motivating thousands annually to clean up, reduce waste, beautify neighborhoods, and improve community environments. We work with governments, businesses, schools, nonprofits, and neighborhood organizations to address illegal dumping, roadway litter, pollution, urban runoff, and the need for healthy green spaces. We believe collective action is key to keeping Pinellas beautiful for generations to come.

KPB is widely recognized for planning and executing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives that integrate environmental restoration with community engagement.
