ABOUT US
Monumental Conversations is a historical augmented reality (AR) tour to foster clear-headed, fact-based conversation about our shared past, present and future in Richmond and beyond. The tour centers under-told stories of Black resistance and resilience through the eyes of our ancestors and the voices of our present. This community-benefit project was created with and for Richmond Public Schools in partnership with Novaby AR Studio and over 100 community stakeholders including students, VFMA, VMHC, The Black History Museum of Virginia, historians, artists, and activists.
