ABOUT US
Who We Are
Shake-A-Leg Miami, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization made up of passionate individuals who believe in the healing power of the water. We've created a space where adults, veterans, youth, and families find hope, friendship, and inspiration to feel better and enhance their quality of life.

Mission
Our mission is to use the marine environment to improve the health, education, and independence of children and adults with disabilities, wounded veterans, and disadvantaged youth and their families.

Vision
Our vision is to become a local and global destination where people with disabilities and their families can have fun, be inspired, build friendships, and pursue their dreams. We also aim to become the Winter Regatta Capital of the world by collaborating with fleets, local clubs, and the hospitality industry.

OUR IMPACT
Shake-A-Leg Miami empowers people with disabilities, veterans, at-risk youth, and underserved communities through inclusive watersports and educational programs. Since 1990, we’ve created accessible experiences on Biscayne Bay that build confidence, independence, and community.

Our Impact
We promote equity through ADA-compliant facilities, scholarships, and outreach to marginalized groups. Our programs, co-designed with people with disabilities, include vocational training and leadership opportunities. We also advance marine conservation through education and cleanups, and contribute to economic growth via job creation and adaptive tourism.
