Amolar Experience

Amolar Experience

Immerse in vibrant nature along the Paraguay River, exploring diverse ecosystems through hiking and birding, while supporting local conservation efforts.

OUR EXPERIENCES
The Amolar Experience tourism program allows travelers to immerse themselves in an environment of lush, vibrant nature, full of diversity at every bend of the Paraguay River, every oxbow lake navigated, and every trail that lifts humans into a wild and delicate landscape. The Pantanal is this mixture. Various itineraries can be offered with focuses on hiking, birding and other nature viewing, etc. The experiences of the program take place in the areas of the RPPN Acurizal and the RPPN Eliezer Batista. In these locations, research related to fauna and flora is conducted with the involvement of scientists from various parts of the world. They also serve as a base for environmental education actions with riverside communities. Furthermore, they receive visits from documentary makers, filmmakers, and photographers recognized in Brazil and abroad to portray nature and the need to preserve it.

ABOUT US
The Amolar Experience is an initiative that seeks to transform the Amolar Mountain Range in Mato Grosso do Sul into a tourist destination renowned for sustainability. Developed through a partnership between Pure Brasil and the Instituto Homem Pantaneiro (IHP), the initiative aims to create a new source of revenue for the projects carried out at the IHP for the preservation of the Pantanal and the valorization of Pantanal culture, train the local community to work in tourism, and create a new route that connects the two main tourist regions of the Pantanal in Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, thereby increasing the tourist stay in the region.

OUR IMPACT
Sustainability is embedded in the DNA of the Instituto Homem Pantaneiro, a non-governmental organization active in the preservation of the Pantanal biome and culture, and in the purpose of Pure Brasil, which has been involved in nature tourism for over 20 years. The Amolar Experience consolidates a partnership between these two entities in favor of a project that enables the training of local labor and funding for preservation projects. This initiative offers tourists more than just a visit to a tourist region; it involves all the projects of the IHP (Brigada Alto Pantanal, Cabeceiras do Pantanal, Felinos Pantaneiros, Memorial do Homem Pantaneiro), local projects (Instituto Acaia Pantanal, Instituto Moinho, Projeto Renascer Pantanal) and the community as a fundamental part of the tourist experience. Through visits, presentations, and lectures, we create a natural and practical engagement of tourists with the region and its needs.
