ABOUT US

Uthando South Africa is an award-winning Public Benefit Organisation that harnesses tourism, storytelling, and partnerships to uplift and empower in-need communities around Cape Town. It supports over 50 high-impact projects in areas like early childhood development, township micro-farming, animal welfare, arts, education, food security, healthcare, shelter, skills development, social services, sport, and Waste to Wonder initiatives transforming discarded tyres into facilities.
This Impact Partner was shared by the Good Travel Institute as one of their Good Travel Experiences. Each Good Travel Experience is evaluated through a clear and recognised framework, ensuring measurable social, cultural, environmental, and economic benefits for local communities.

OUR IMPACT

Uthando transforms early childhood centers from shanties to world-class facilities, supports micro-farms creating employment and food security while greening urban spaces, and runs Waste to Wonder converting 13 million annual discarded tyres into community facilities. Proceeds from experiences directly fund these initiatives.
