ABOUT US
At Broughgammon Farm, our mission is to farm for the future—nurturing the land, producing food ethically, and leading with regenerative, nature-friendly practices.

As a family-run farm in Northern Ireland, we champion sustainable methods like mob grazing, agroforestry, and species-rich grassland management. We’ve also pioneered eco innovations, including solar-powered fencing and low-impact water systems. Visitors are invited to experience life on the farm through guided tours, seasonal events, foraging walks, and hands-on workshops.

OUR IMPACT
At Broughgammon Farm, we use regenerative farming methods that actively improve soil health, boost biodiversity, and support local ecosystems. By prioritising low-impact, nature-friendly practices, we work in harmony with the land to leave it better than we found it.

We’ve pioneered several innovative environmental practices, including solar-powered electric fencing, a water-source pump for livestock, mob grazing, agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and the maintenance of species-rich grasslands—recognised as some of the most diverse in the UK by leading experts.

The farm also serves as a showcase site for the Nature Friendly Farming Network, with Charlie proudly serving as a founding member of its original steering group.

Broughgammon is a mixed farming system designed to demonstrate high welfare standards, environmental stewardship, resilience, and profitability. It stands as a vibrant example of a diverse, sustainable model focused on decentralising the food chain.
