ABOUT US
We are located in the attractive and unique Sacred Valley of the Incas, in the district of Pisac, Community of Cuyo Chico. We are a community characterized by its wonderful landscapes and Inca terraces at the Pisac Archaeological Center. Our community and organization is a village of potters and painters with a rich history, tradition, and customs that you can only discover by visiting us. We are the Ricchary Association of the Rural Community of Cuyo Chico in the district of Pisac - TINKUY, made up of twelve families.

OUR IMPACT
The Ricchary Association of Cuyo Chico is deeply committed to the protection and sustainable management of its natural resources, especially water. The community carries out important activities focused on water conservation, including the recovery of natural springs and the maintenance of a reliable water supply for household use and productive activities. A key component of this work is the reforestation of native species such as queñua, an essential Andean tree that helps restore ecosystems, regulate water cycles, and protect soils. Through these efforts, the community also seeks to rehabilitate local wetlands and improve natural pastures, contributing to the overall health of the surrounding landscape.

In addition to environmental stewardship, the organization promotes sustainable tourism as a tool to strengthen cultural identity and ensure the preservation of both cultural and natural heritage. Their approach encourages meaningful, responsible interactions between visitors and the community, fostering appreciation for ancestral practices and long-term conservation of the Sacred Valley’s unique environment.
