Asia Society Texas Center

This Houston cultural hub features diverse exhibitions, performing arts, and family-friendly festivals, promoting cross-cultural understanding year-round.

OUR EXPERIENCES
Located in Houston's Museum District, Asia Society Texas is a museum and cultural and educational institution offering exhibitions and public programs for all ages. We welcome visitors and travelers to explore our permanent educational exhibition, rotating art exhibitions, and to enjoy performing arts, festivals, family days, and other events throughout the year.

ABOUT US
Asia Society Texas believes in the strength and beauty of diverse perspectives and people. As an educational institution, we promote cultural exchange by celebrating the vibrant diversity of Asia, inspiring empathy, and fostering a deeper understanding of our interconnected world. Through family-friendly festivals, policy discussions, thought-provoking exhibitions, and more, our engaging programs offer year-round, all-ages opportunities to connect with artists, speakers, and topics that unite us.

OUR IMPACT
As a cultural and educational institution, Asia Society Texas is dedicated to advancing cross-cultural understanding for learners of all ages and backgrounds. A survey by the National Commission on Asian perspectives in schools revealed a significant gap in educational resources about Asia and Asian American perspectives. We strive to bridge this gap through onsite exhibition tours and field trips, lesson guides and resources on our Asia in the Classroom online platform, summer camps, and more than 125 public programs annually.
