OUR EXPERIENCES
Every community has a story to tell. My Community works to chronicle and narrate the endearing stories of common people.

We celebrate the everyday people and places in our communities through community museums, heritage tours, and neighborhood festivals. Our work is supported by volunteers who contribute as tour guides or as part of our Cultural Mapping, Community Archives, Community Design, or Museum teams.

ABOUT US
My Community is a non-profit organization dedicated to capturing and preserving community stories, reconnecting people to places and social networks, and deepening heritage appreciation across the country.

We also advocate for greater community involvement in cultural management and urban governance processes. Since 2010, our efforts have driven the growth of a "common-man" approach to history, celebrating the everyday experiences of Singaporeans.

OUR IMPACT
My Community envisions an inclusive, self-reliant, and people-centric community where individuals are empowered to actively participate in and support their neighborhoods.

We achieve this vision by building a resilient community that preserves common heritage, celebrates everyday people and places, and co-designs and co-curates community spaces and programs.

Over the past 15 years, My Community has developed a close-knit ecosystem, using heritage as a medium to unite volunteers, community partners, and public and private institutions. Together, our staff, residents, and volunteers conceptualize, manage, and execute various programs while strengthening their relationships.

Tours and programs with accessibility options (e.g., wheelchair access) are clearly indicated on our website and ticketing platforms. Each neighborhood tour is assigned a difficulty level based on the amount of walking required and the type of terrain.
