Eagle Wing Tours
OUR EXPERIENCES
Eagle Wing Tours is an award-winning Victoria-based ecotourism company that can best be described as a conservation organization that happens to run accessible year-round whale and wildlife watching tours.
ABOUT US
Our mission is to protect marine wildlife and the ocean environment through direct support of conservation and research activities, to build ocean awareness through education and outreach programs, and to promote environmental stewardship through industry-leading sustainability initiatives. We’re a long-time member of 1% for the Planet, we’re Canada’s first and only third-party verified 100% carbon neutral whale watching company, and we’ve been Victoria’s #1-ranked whale watching company on Trip Advisor since 2007.
OUR IMPACT
Sustainability has always been a core value of our company. We’re Canada’s first and only third-party verified 100% carbon-neutral whale watching company. We operate fuel-efficient, low underwater noise vessels. We use a green purchasing policy and practice the four Rs of waste management. We’re certified Platinum with GreenStep Sustainable Tourism. We’ve publicly taken the Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge. We support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. And we’re ready to embrace regenerative tourism, which encourages visitors to respect, restore and protect the unique marine environment and cultural heritage of the Salish Sea. Conservation is at the heart of everything we do. Through funds raised through 1% for the Planet and a per guest wildlife fee, we partner with a broad range of conservation and research organizations who are working hard to restore and protect wildlife and habitat in the Salish Sea and beyond.

What are your minimum and maximum group sizes?
Small as 2 and as large as 50.
Do you require visitors to pre-book?
We recommend making bookings well in advance, as we fill up quickly. In addition, we only confirm vessels at certain (minimum) numbers, so if we know we have enough people to go, we'll confirm a tour.
Do you have group rates?
Yes. We offer a 10% discount to group of 6 or more. We also take 100% payment up front, with a 48 - hour cancellation policy.
Do you pay commissions to travel advisors?
Yes. Assuming guests are paying full (rack) rate, we offer a 10% commission to sellers. If you're looking for wholesale rates, we can involve our Tour Booking specialist to establish direct billing and get a contract out to you.
What languages do you offer your services in?
We have a few different languages; available upon request, as individuals don't work every day. We have (spoken) Dutch, fluent English, French and Spanish among our staff members
When are you open?
We are open year-round.
What accommodations do you make for people living with disabilities?
Our catamarans are equipped to welcome wheelchairs and one of them (Wild 4 Whales) can accommodate motorized scooters also. Our staff are excellent at ensuring those with disabalities have an equal opportunity to view wildlife and our captain will ensure those in wheelchairs (if on one side of the boat) ensure the best viewing is afforded to these guests. Please have a look at this youtube clip we put together with regards to W/Cs on the boat.
