OUR EXPERIENCES
FoodArtNature (FAN) both creates and curates immersive, hands-on experiences blending nature, food, and art, leaving participants inspired, connected, and deeply appreciative of the Annapolis Valley's unique ecosystems, traditions, and communities.

ABOUT US
The experiences offered at FoodArtNature are the product of efforts from a small, passionate group of community leaders in the Annapolis Valley brought together under the common beliefs that:
1. Our local farmers and entrepreneurs have a wealth of knowledge that can and should be shared with others,
2. Visitors and residents of our community should have access to regenerative experiences that highlight sustainable food and agriculture, nature, ecology and local culture, and;3. With enough effort and care, we can provide memorable, unique experiences that people will love.

OUR IMPACT
FoodArtNature (FAN) creates a positive social and environmental impact by fostering deep connections between people and the natural world, promoting sustainable tourism, and supporting local culture (including agriculture). Socially, FAN brings communities together by offering immersive experiences that highlight the local stories of the Annapolis Valley, while empowering local farmers, artisans, and producers to share their knowledge. It encourages visitors to engage with the land and its stewards in meaningful ways, creating lasting relationships between locals and travelers. These local people benefit from the operating funding of FAN, having received coaching and development tools along the process.

Environmentally, FAN promotes regenerative practices by emphasizing sustainable practices and nature-based learning. By showcasing organic farming, herbal remedies, forest immersion, and other eco-friendly activities, FAN raises awareness about environmental stewardship and inspires participants to adopt more sustainable habits in their own lives.
