Vegan Tours Cape Town
OUR EXPERIENCES
Vegan Tours Cape Town offers immersive, plant-based travel experiences including wine tasting, whale watching, and walking food tours that highlight Cape Town’s vegan culture, history, and landscapes while promoting ethical and sustainable tourism.
ABOUT US
Our vision is to promote compassionate, eco-conscious tourism practices through plant-based experiences, and to encourage travel that respects animals while protecting and preserving the planet. We aim to inspire conscious choices that reduce environmental impact while supporting businesses and individuals who share and contribute to these values.
IMPACT
Vegan Tours Cape Town creates positive impact through a tourism model rooted in sustainability, education, and community support. Our plant-based tours reduce the environmental footprint associated with animal agriculture while promoting conscious travel choices. We prioritise low-impact practices where we can such as eliminating single-use plastics and using compostable sugar-cane water bottles for guests on our tours as well as offering a walking tour that doesn't involve the use of any vehicle.
Socially and economically, we partner with local small, independant vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants, wine farms that are members of the WWF Conservation Champions and that support fair labour practices as well as ethical animal sanctuaries and experiences that prioritize animal welfare and conservation, many of which rely on donations and private funding.
Education and awareness is a focus on every tour. Through storytelling, discussions on veganism, environmental challenges, and ethical wildlife experiences, we encourage travellers to make more compassionate and sustainable choices. We demonstrate how tourism can positively benefit people, animals, and the planet.
