Christopher Bridge Cellars

Experience handcrafted wines from a scenic estate, enjoy tastings in a timber frame room, and participate in special events amidst stunning landscapes.

OUR EXPERIENCES
Christopher Bridge Cellars prides itself in offering a selection of 10 to 15 unique and carefully handcrafted Estate wines sourced from our 80 acre farm and Satori Springs Vineyard at the base of the Cascade Mountains’ foothills near Oregon City. Our winemaker, Chris Carlberg, has called this land home for 70+ years and continues to farm it with a passion for authenticity, sustainability and creativity. We offer tastings in our NW timber frame tasting room.

ABOUT US
As family farmers, it has always been our goal to balance the economic viability of growing and raising products and livestock with the livability of the ecosphere we first found here when our parents first settled here some 72 years ago. During these 7+ decades, three generations have lived and worked here and we continue to build our vision for a place of beauty and stability. Our agriculture has moved from raising large breed livestock, hay and marketable timber to planting an 18-acre Estate vineyard showcasing 10 white and red wine varietals, adding value-added winemaking and wine sales onsite and in retail shops in close vicinity. We offer visitors access to special events (dinners and concerts) and private functions and continue to advocate for more sustainability in agritourism via our Clackamas County’s tourism department and their efforts toward promoting farm stays and offering affordable lodging on farms. We consider this an important next step in helping family farms become more sustainable without the crossover into industrial farming.

OUR IMPACT
As stewards of the land, we aim to inspire and educate guests about the importance of environmental stewardship while inviting them to enjoy the scenic beauty and tranquility of their farm. Dedicated to sustainable farming practices, we seek to enhance soil health, biodiversity, and productivity while producing authentic wines. We believe in nurturing a symbiotic relationship with our local environment, paying attention to natural rhythms and utilizing soil remediation techniques for balanced growth. Through our "Building Bridges for Life"" campaign, the Carlberg family supports humanitarian efforts by donating a portion of wine sales to organizations like Doctors Without Borders, Forward Edge International, and the World Peace Institute Portland. We encourage others to join in our commitment to environmental stewardship and philanthropy.
