The Global Meaningful Travel Map
Saraurku
OUR EXPERIENCES
We design and offer tours and experiences of rural and community tourism in Saraguro and throughout Ecuador. Our tours provide travelers with the opportunity to share and coexist with families within Indigenous or rural communities. Here, they can disconnect from the routine and reconnect with the nature, culture, music, and gastronomy of the region.
In Saraguro, all host families and Saraurku are part of the Saraguro Rikuy Community Tourism Network, a network of Indigenous and rural families actively working to drive the tourism development of their communities and the canton. This ensures the quality of experiences and the safety of travelers during their stay in Saraguro or any other community tourism destination in Ecuador.
From the majestic Ecuadorian Sierra to the vast Amazon, all the way to the Pacific Coast, with Saraurku, you'll live unique experiences that go beyond the sensory to reach the depths of the soul. From our Saraurku experiences, travelers take home memories of smiles, the magic, and wisdom of ancient and hospitable communities, eager to receive and make their stay in the "Four Worlds" country a unique and unforgettable experience.
