ABOUT US
The Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC) is a dynamic cultural destination offering a wide range of experiences for visitors of all ages. Our year-round exhibitions feature local, regional, and nationally recognized artists, and we provide docent-led tours for groups, making the Center accessible and educational for both general visitors and organized travel parties.
DFAC offers hands-on art workshops for adults and teens, as well as art classes, allowing participants to explore creativity while learning practical techniques. Families can engage with the arts through our children’s museum, designed to inspire curiosity and imagination in young learners. Visitors can also browse and purchase unique, artist-created works in our Gallery Shop, and enjoy locally sourced meals and refreshments at the Palm Café.
Our programming reflects a strong commitment to community engagement and education. Through workshops, exhibitions, and tours, DFAC fosters creativity, supports local artists, and encourages cultural participation across age groups and backgrounds. By combining education, experiential learning, and public access to the arts, DFAC contributes to the social and cultural vitality of Dunedin and the broader region.
