The Global Meaningful Travel Map
Orca Spirit Adventures Whale Watching
OUR EXPERIENCES
Experience British Columbia’s enchanting marine wildlife on one of Orca Spirit Adventures’ whale-watching tours from Victoria or Port Renfrew. You’ll have the chance to see killer whales, humpback whales, bald eagles, and porpoises while respecting the natural environment along the spectacular coastline of Vancouver Island. During our peak whale-watching season, our whale sighting success rate is an impressive 97%!
ABOUT US
We believe our presence shouldn’t have a negative impact on the environment, so we’re doing everything possible to preserve the spectacular natural surroundings where we do business. From carbon-neutral tours and local sourcing to extensive recycling and energy and water efficiency initiatives, our sustainable business practices help protect the planet for future generations.
OUR IMPACT
Orca Spirit Adventures is committed to protecting and preserving the spectacular natural setting in which we operate by actively practicing the principles of eco-tourism and sustainability.
We take UNWTO and TIES definitions to heart, using them to guide decision-making across every aspect of our business. This means taking a leadership role in our community by developing and implementing eco-tourism awareness programs and continually monitoring our use of natural resources for opportunities to improve.
From carbon-neutral tours to proactive waste management, and the ongoing recruitment, training, and employment of community members, Orca Spirit Adventures works hard to ensure our whale and wildlife-watching services have a positive social, economic, and environmental impact.
