OUR EXPERIENCES
TAMBA is dedicated to the stewardship of sustainable, multiple-use trails and to preserving access for mountain bikers through advocacy, education and promotion of responsible trail use. Some of our recent projects have been repairing the Caldor Trails after a fire, Christmas Valley Trail, and the Kaspian Rim Trail. We've built the Bijou Bike Park in 2015 as well!

ABOUT US
The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that builds, maintains, and advocates for multi-use trails in Tahoe while providing education to all trail users and hosting fun community events. TAMBA works in partnership with land managers such as the U.S. Forest Service, Nevada State Parks, California State Parks, and the City of South Lake Tahoe. In addition, TAMBA helps maintain more than 100 miles of trail per year. We can accept groups of volunteers to help us maintain trails.

OUR IMPACT
2021 marks the 11th year since new leadership has revived The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) from dormancy. Now, under solid footing, the list of accomplishments in that time is growing, with over 17,000 hours of volunteer trail work on more than 16 different trails in the Tahoe area along with the design, permitting and building of Bijou Bike Park.
