Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust

Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust

Explore wildlife conservation in Zimbabwe through behind-the-scenes tours of rehabilitation, research, and community education programs.

OUR EXPERIENCES

Travelers are welcome to join us for a one-hour tour to learn more about biodiversity conservation and the importance of working with local communities for success. The tour provides background on our projects, from wildlife research to a look into our wildlife disease and forensics laboratory, as well as wildlife in our high-care rehabilitation center.

ABOUT US

To actively advance and promote environmental conservation and the sustainable use of indigenous resources in Southern Africa.

IMPACT

In 2025, we worked with partners in communities to provide conservation education to over 1,000 children, rescued and rehabilitated injured wildlife, including 32 wire snare removals, and tested evidence for submission in 35 wildlife crime cases. The laboratory conducted 6,000 tests, while over 200 small-scale local farmers are developing value chains for 2,000 livestock, improving animal health, husbandry, and local livelihoods.
