OUR EXPERIENCES
The guesthouse offers comfortable accommodations equipped to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay. In addition, the guesthouse staff is always ready to welcome visitors and provide information about the activities available in the region.

ABOUT US
Owned by our family for over 150 years, the Aguapé Inn is located in a rich area formed by typical Pantanal vegetation, mixed with cerrado vegetation, bays (lakes), low tides, streams, and the Aquidauana River with lush riparian forest; allowing visitors, at any time of the year, in the rainy or dry season, to discover the riches of the Pantanal, in addition to being a great environment for birdwatchers, with over 300 species already registered.

OUR IMPACT
Pousada Aguapé is a small business with a traditional rural property in Aquidauana-MS, where we employ 20 local residents. Over 15 years ago, we began implementing sustainability practices in response to the needs of our international guests, who make up 98.5% of our clientele. With guidance from SEBRAE-MS, we’ve adopted various eco-friendly practices, such as waste management, solar energy use, and incorporating sustainable products into our amenities and breakfast offerings. We’re actively involved in local tourism governance through bodies like the Municipal Tourism Council in Aquidauana, Visit Pantanal, and projects like Del Turismo. We've also provided infrastructure for a rural school, supported by public sector initiatives, and are involved in financial sustainability projects like the Sapicuá Pantaneiro project, which promotes local crafts among indigenous and traditional communities. In addition, we support wildlife conservation efforts, including the Blue Macaw Project and the Anteater Project, with our property serving as one of the research bases for these studies in the Pantanal.
