OUR EXPERIENCES
Rhodes Cooking Class offers hands-on Greek cooking experiences on a family farm near Archangelos, Rhodes, where guests explore the garden, discover a small family museum and prepare traditional dishes with local hosts. The experience includes our own olive oil, seasonal ingredients and traditional wood-fired cooking, followed by a shared meal and recipes to take home. We also offer private group classes, corporate team-building activities and wine tastings, with vegetarian and vegan adaptations available.
ABOUT US
We connect travellers with Rhodian food culture through hands-on cooking, family storytelling and shared meals. Our mission is to keep local culinary traditions alive, support relationships with local suppliers and offer meaningful encounters between visitors and hosts on our family farm.
IMPACT
Our strongest contribution is education and cultural preservation. Guests learn traditional recipes and cooking techniques directly from local hosts, explore our family’s rural heritage through a small museum and discover the connection between ingredients, landscape and everyday life in Rhodes.
We welcomed 259 guests in 2023 and 754 in 2024. Participants receive recipes afterwards, allowing them to practise and share what they have learned at home.
Our experience also connects visitor spending with a locally operated business and local suppliers. We use our own olive oil, available garden produce and locally sourced ingredients, and collaborate with hospitality and transport partners across Rhodes.
Small-group sessions create opportunities for direct conversation and active participation. These activities bring visitors into the countryside and introduce them to food traditions beyond the island’s main resort experiences.
