Red Ginger Chic Resort is a 4-star boutique hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi, where award-winning design meets award-winning sustainability. Certified green since 2014 and on a clear path to Net Zero 2040, we prove every day that style and responsibility belong together.
IMPACT
Red Ginger Chic Resort is a nationally and ASEAN-recognized green hotel, earning Thailand Tourism Gold Award for low-carbon tourism and Silver Award for design excellence. Since 2014, the resort has advanced green practices in energy, waste and supply chains, with a goal of Net Zero 2040.
The resort shares its experience through speaking engagements and open-house visits for hotels, universities and government organizations, helping others adopt green operations and build sustainability teams. It supports local producers by purchasing honey from Nai Nang Community and upcycled plastic beads from Laemsak community, which guests use in activities that raise sustainability awareness. The resort also promotes community-based low-carbon tourism, including Klong Root kayaking in Ban Nong Talae and eco-cycling in Ban Nai Nang. In addition, it sponsors accommodation and provides financial and in-kind support to promote Krabi as a sustainable destination.
