The Global Meaningful Travel Map
Kayak Adventures Worldwide
OUR EXPERIENCES
Kayak Adventures Worldwide offers educational sea kayaking tours out of Seward, Alaska, emphasizing environmental stewardship and a connection with the natural world. All our trips align with our mission to explore, inspire, and protect.
Our most popular day trip is the Aialik Glacier Day Trip, which combines a wildlife boat tour with a kayaking tour near Aialik Glacier. This trip offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and visits the largest and most actively calving tidewater glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park.
Visitors can also opt for our Half Day Resurrection Bay Tour. Running three times daily, this 4-hour trip immerses you in Alaska’s unique ecosystems, from rocky beaches to temperate rainforests, and is an excellent choice for families.
ABOUT US
We are a small, locally owned shop dedicated to inspiring our guests to reclaim an active stewardship of our natural world. Through our sea kayaking and glacier kayaking tours, we aim to educate and engage participants. No prior kayaking experience is needed—just an adventurous spirit and a desire to learn, explore, and protect the great Alaskan wilderness.
OUR IMPACT
As members of 1% for the Planet, we donate 1% of our annual sales to local Alaska non-profits, including the North Gulf Oceanic Society, Renewable Energy Alaska Project, and Alaska Conservation Foundation. Over the past five years, we have donated more than $75,000.
On every tour, our guides share how these organizations actively work to protect Alaska’s wildlife, landscapes, and cultures. At the end of each tour, guests choose which nonprofit most resonates with them, and we donate $2 from their trip fee to that organization.
We also focus on carbon offsetting. In 2021, we collectively offset 452 tonnes of CO2, equivalent to planting 7,500 trees or removing 100 cars from the road for an entire year.
