Five Star Whale Watching

Five Star Whale Watching

Experience responsible whale watching in the Salish Sea, where you can see orcas, humpbacks, and more, while supporting marine conservation efforts.

OUR EXPERIENCES
Join Victoria's first World Cetacean Alliance Certified Responsible Whale Watching Operator and explore the wonders of the Salish Sea! Our 3-hour tours offer the chance to responsibly view orcas, humpbacks, grey whales, and minke whales in their natural habitat. You may also encounter porpoises, seals, sea lions, otters, and a variety of marine birds, including bald eagles. Established in 1985, we are Victoria's longest-running whale-watching company.

ABOUT US
Our mission is to educate, advocate, inspire, preserve, and protect the incredible marine environment. Join one of our tours and discover why “We Like Our Whales Wild.”

OUR IMPACT
As founders of the environmental movement to protect the southern resident killer whales, we established rules and guidelines for West Coast whale watching.

  • Founding partner of the Pacific Whale Watch Association (PWWA) and avid supporters of the Centre for Whale Research.

  • Committed to becoming Carbon Negative, reducing waste, recycling, reusing, and following sustainable practices in all operations.

  • Proud member of 1% for the Planet, contributing to environmental initiatives.

  • Use the Whale Warning Flag on all vessels to alert boaters to the presence of whales, promoting safe and respectful interactions.

  • Participate in the Whale Reporting Network, which notifies commercial vessels of whales in the area and encourages them to slow down. This data also contributes to research efforts.

Let our expert staff and crew educate and inspire you with the wonders of the Salish Sea while promoting environmental stewardship.
