Pioneering as Greece’s first mobile children’s museum, Exploration Children's Museum brings play-based cultural experiences to all children and families. In partnership with communities and municipalities, we travel widely to deliver hands-on learning, storytelling, interactive educational programs, and cultural walks, fostering intergenerational learning, community participation, and joyful engagement with local heritage.

Exploration Children's Museum is an investee of the UnTours Foundation through its Reset Tourism Fund, which provides accessible investment capital to inclusive, sustainable, and community-enhancing tourism businesses.

IMPACT

Exploration Children’s Museum, Greece’s first mobile children’s museum, delivers play-based cultural experiences to children and families nationwide, including underserved urban and rural communities. Traveling across the country with exhibits, collections, and educators, ECM removes geographic and economic barriers, fostering intergenerational learning, creativity, and pride in local heritage. ECM supports sustainable tourism by highlighting hidden cultural heritage through interactive walks and storytelling, going beyond mainstream attractions. Our work strengthens community identity, builds cultural resilience, and ensures that all children—regardless of background—can benefit from meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity, social connection, and lifelong engagement with culture.

We are open year-round by pre-booking. Program availability depends on your travel dates and community locations. Closed on official public holidays. All programs are tailored to the local context, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for families and groups.

City walking tours are adaptable to ensure accessibility for participants using wheelchairs or with strollers. ECM's tours can be modified as needed to accommodate mobility challenges, allowing families with children of different ages and abilities to fully participate.
