At Radical Weavers, we are inclusive, inspiring, and wholehearted. This means that everyone is welcome in our studio, and our workshops are as accessible and adaptable as possible - meaning everyone can have a go!

OUR IMPACT
Radical Weavers is dedicated to fostering a significant positive impact, both socially and environmentally. Our core mission revolves around inclusivity, with a special emphasis on empowering young LGBTQ+ individuals, people from disadvantaged backgrounds, survivors of trauma or loss, and those at risk of social isolation. We firmly believe in the transformative power of weaving and the creative arts as tools for healing, personal development, and community building. Moreover, our studio is designed to be fully accessible and welcoming to everyone, regardless of their physical abilities or backgrounds. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that our facilities are equipped to meet a wide range of needs, making creativity and expression accessible to all. This focus on accessibility is a testament to our belief that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, should have the opportunity to engage in creative pursuits and find a sense of belonging within our community. In addition to our social initiatives, we are also mindful of our environmental impact. We incorporate sustainable practices into our weaving and creative processes, promoting the use of eco-friendly materials and techniques that minimise waste and reduce our carbon footprint. By doing so, we not only protect the planet but also instil a sense of environmental responsibility in our participants, encouraging them to make more sustainable choices in their own lives.
