ABOUT US
As a profit-for-purpose organisation, we aim to provide our customers with the best experience, with the result being, all profit is then provided to CHAS, our parent company, "Children's Hospices Across Scotland", to assist our colleagues caring for sick children within their care.

OUR IMPACT
We are owned by the children's charity, CHAS, so all profit is for the charity, assisting to give the best care we can to the children aided by this amazing charity. We are also a company with a strong ethos in sustainability:

OUR STRATEGY, to:-
* Take responsibility for our impact on the environment.
* Plan with achievable goals in environmental best practice.
* Conduct a full supply chain review and source suppliers and partners responsibly.
* Educate, train, and build awareness amongst our team, guests, and suppliers, ensuring we fully understand our responsibilities and commitment to creating a sustainable business.
* Reduce, reuse, and recycle.
* Improve energy management.
* Improve waste management.
* Support and use suppliers with good Environmental Policies.

Examples of action areas we currently implement:
* Comprehensive recycling policy.
* Removal of single-use plastic items where possible.
* Manage the use and reduction of utilities, energy, and water through our equipment selection, energy management systems (including our biomass boiler), policies, and staff awareness.
* Develop a purchasing policy in place with a preference for local, sustainable, low-energy, low air miles, and ethical purchases.
* Work on sustainable food sourcing policy and work with Caterers who like to use local produce wherever possible.
