Since 2003, Alladale has evolved from a traditional estate into a pioneering conservation project where hospitality and environmental restoration go hand in hand. OUR IMPACT
At Alladale, conservation is at the heart of everything we do. As a leading force in rewilding Scotland, we restore native Caledonian pine forests, rewild peatlands, and reintroduce species like the Scottish wildcat. Our on-site aquaponic gardens and sustainable food program provide fresh, organic produce while reducing food miles and waste. We also generate much of our renewable energy through a hydro-turbine, significantly lowering our carbon footprint.

Beyond environmental impact, we are committed to social responsibility and accessibility. Partnering with The European Nature Trust (TENT) and the Alladale Foundation, we offer free educational programs for schoolchildren, inspiring future environmental stewards. Through low-impact travel experiences and sustainability-focused retreats, we create inclusive opportunities for guests to connect with nature while leaving a positive legacy on the land.
