OUR EXPERIENCES
Vildmark i Värmland offers unique outdoor adventures in Sweden’s Värmland region, focused on nature, simplicity, and quality time. Their signature experience lets you build your own timber raft from logs and ropes, then drift down the calm Klarälven River over several days—a peaceful, hands-on journey ideal for families, friends, and small groups.

They also offer canoe trips on Värmland’s rivers and lakes, with options for all skill levels. These self-guided or supported tours provide a chance to enjoy quiet waters, wildlife, and scenic campsites. Additional offerings include one-day tours, nature walks, and custom trips for schools, groups, and companies.

ABOUT US
At Vildmark i Värmland, our mission is to create unforgettable outdoor experiences through self-guided adventures on the rivers and lakes of Värmland, Sweden. Since the beginning, we’ve welcomed guests from all over the world to share in the magic of Swedish nature—slow travel, simple living, and the joy of discovery.

OUR IMPACT
At Vildmark i Värmland, we believe tourism should have a positive impact—on nature, local communities, and everyone involved. That’s why sustainability is central to how we work. Since 2002, we’ve been certified by Nature’s Best, Sweden’s quality label for responsible nature-based tourism, and we continuously update our approach to meet high standards.

We follow clear environmental and ecotourism policies that guide our operations—from raft-building and waste management to guest education and community collaboration. These principles help ensure that our experiences are low-impact, authentic, and respectful of both nature and culture.

We believe this benefits everyone: guests gain a deeper connection to nature, our team finds purpose in their work, local communities are supported, and the natural environment is protected. We’re committed to improving continuously and working together with our guests to keep this experience credible and sustainable for the future.
