Uteguiden is an outdoor adventure company based in the stunning region of Møre og Romsdal, where magical winter ski tours overlook deep fjords, and summer brings wild biking, hiking, and kayaking adventures on the water.

We are dedicated to offering our guests unique and authentic experiences of the highest quality. More than just ensuring safety, our wide range of activities allows people to truly connect with nature, explore untouched wilderness, and engage with the local communities who call this place home.

As the leading outdoor adventure company in the North Western part of Norway, we strive to offer our guests unique and diverse experiences throughout the year.
We are committed to continuous improvement, building on steady growth in the region that will make us the key influencers of a long-lasting and responsible form of tourism — one that resonates deeply with the territory and its communities.

OUR IMPACT
Our business model is grounded in local engagement, prioritizing partnerships with nearby businesses and contributing to the regional economy. We employ 16 full-time staff (with plans to grow), provide year-round job stability, and help sustain local services like the community bouldering center and regional snow forecasting. Environmentally, we invest in sustainable equipment, use electric vehicles, limit group sizes, and adhere to "Leave No Trace" principles—reinforced through employee and guest education. We also hold certifications such as Eco-Lighthouse, 1% for the Planet, and are members of Green Kayak and Rainforest Trust. By working with local schools and businesses, we help instill a professional outdoor culture and bring both international and domestic travelers into closer contact with Norway’s natural and cultural heritage—all while operating as a resilient, responsible, and growth-oriented business.
