The Nordics

Eriksberg Hotel & Nature Reserve
OUR EXPERIENCES
Eriksberg is one of Northern Europe’s largest wildlife reserves and a pioneering destination for sustainable tourism with luxurious hotel rooms immersed in the surrounding nature and restaurants serving locally sourced food.
ABOUT US
To make our guests understand nature, biodiversity and animals better. Everything we do is on the animal's terms and with the lowest possible impact on the environment.
OUR IMPACT
Eriksberg serves as a vital gene bank and a key research and reference area for ecosystems, forming part of UNESCO’s Blekinge Archipelago Biosphere Reserve. Recycling is central to our operations. By utilizing rock and geothermal energy, we've already achieved Sweden’s 2030 goal of halving energy consumption. All heating, cooling, and hot water are powered by 100% renewable sources, with energy use reduced by around 60% through smart planning, quality construction, and technologies like geothermal pumps and solar panels.
We aim to use as much as possible from our animals—naturally shed antlers are turned into souvenirs or dog bones. The annual Eriksberg Prize supports research and encourages sustainable use of nature’s resources. Funded projects have explored beetles, butterflies, fishing, tree regeneration, birdlife, and more, generating valuable ecological insights.
