Blue Monkey Hub & Hotel Krabi Town
OUR EXPERIENCES
A hotel that provides accommodation in the heart of Krabi. Tourists staying at our hotel will experience a combination of convenience, easy access and sustainability through the enhancement of products and services that focus on long-term value. We have several eco-friendly activities and events hosted at our hotel, including our Little Market, which promotes sustainable thinking through collaboration between locals and visitors, as well as upcycling workshops that teach how to make souvenirs from upcycled materials.
ABOUT US
The hotel is dedicated to using resources efficiently by reducing energy, water, and waste, and by incorporating environmentally friendly materials. It supports the local economy by sourcing products and services from community artisans, including locally sourced breakfast items. The hotel also educates staff and guests about sustainable tourism to foster a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility. Guests can enjoy eco-tourism activities and explore the culture and lifestyle of the Ban Koh Klang community.
The hotel’s vision is to offer a creative, sustainable stay that connects guests with local culture. Through thoughtful service, design, and community engagement, the hotel becomes more than just a place to stay—it’s a space for cultural exchange and a model for community-driven sustainability.
OUR IMPACT
The hotel creates a positive impact on society and the environment through sustainable, community-focused practices. It supports the local economy by sourcing ingredients and products from local farmers and artisans, including breakfast items and handicrafts, and by promoting small businesses like Phutawan Coffee and OTOP cashew producers. Environmentally, the hotel reduces energy and resource use, promotes recycled and eco-friendly packaging, and minimizes plastic waste by offering refillable water bottles. Waste is separated for recycling, with food scraps composted, and eco-tourism is encouraged to foster appreciation for the local culture and environment.
