OUR IMPACT
Our vision is to educate and create awareness of the Sámi history, culture and the Sámi people. We offer activities, outdoor museum, food experiences and lodging based on Sámi culture, with the aim to preserve and spread knowledge about the culture and traditions. In our restaurant Ovttas, we honor Sámi traditions through authentic flavors and carefully prepared dishes. Our menu blends classic Sámi recipes with modern influences, using locally sourced ingredients. We are committed to preserving traditional techniques, ensuring every dish carries the essence of Sámi culinary heritage. Since Sámi culture is strongly associated with sustainability and respect for the nature, and the traditional Sámi knowledge emphasizes a lifestyle in harmony with nature and its resources. It is very natural for Nutti Sámi Siida and of great importance to work sustainable.
