For us, long-term sustainability is just as important as genuine hospitality. We work with everything from food composting and energy recovery to using locally produced raw materials in one of Sweden’s most climate-smart kitchens. We support local businesses and work diligently to maintain our extensive annual Nordic Swan certification.

Kiruna offers a wide variety, from a majestic mountain landscape to exciting architectural history, from the Northern lights to the Midnight sun, from snow-filled dog sledding tours to Icelandic horses. Situated on the edge of the town, with views of both the mountains and the vast forest with its hiking trails and ski tracks, adventure is never far away at hotel Camp Ripan.

Our commitment includes using energy and resources efficiently by implementing energy-saving solutions and intelligent technologies. We prioritize locally sourced and organic products and strive to minimize the use of disposable items. To reduce food waste, we adjust portion sizes and cooking processes, while also supporting active recycling and waste sorting. We aim to create a welcoming environment where all guests feel valued and are offered personal experiences rooted in local culture and history. Internally, we promote an open and supportive work environment where our team members feel appreciated and involved in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
