OUR EXPERIENCES
Harmony at Huailan Home Ecolodge, ‘Your Happy, Healthy, Healing Home with Heart,’ offers cozy, well-equipped private cabins woven into the natural landscape just thirty minutes from Chiang Mai. Travelers can deeply relax on their balconies overlooking our serene fishpond, recharge through rejuvenating yoga and forest bathing, or explore the scenic Huai Lan Reservoir on foot or bicycle. Furthermore, guests experience a profound connection to authentic local life by using our exclusive “local gems” map to meet skilled village artisans, learn traditional Thai crafts, pick fresh garden vegetables, and savor delicious neighborhood eateries.
ABOUT US
Harmony@Huailan is our “Happy, Healthy, Healing Home with Heart.” We create a welcoming space in Pong Huai Lan village for guests to experience the simple beauty of community and nature. Here, travelers can rest, revive, and be inspired to lead kind, meaningful lives.
IMPACT
Harmony@Huailan drives tangible positive impacts across our community and environment:
Socio-Cultural: We empower local artisans by integrating their crafts into our cabins including hand-woven cotton curtains, rattan light-shades, and Fairtrade basins. By partnering with the Ban Pong Huai Lan Community-Based Tourism Group, we offer authentic guest workshops that directly generate local income.
Environmental: We operate sustainably by generating 70% of our electricity via a 10kW solar system. Over 90% of our building timber is reclaimed. We strictly eliminate single-use plastics, use locally sourced organic toiletries, and operate a solar-powered biological wastewater treatment system.
Community & Governance: We prioritize ethical, local procurement to sustain the village economy. Additionally, our founder initiated a “Community Trash Bank” that recycles 20 waste types and converts low-value plastic into diesel, aligning our fully licensed business with Thailand's Net Zero goals.
