Naturguide Møn

Experience breathtaking chalk cliffs, a Dark Sky Park, and eco-friendly tours that connect you with nature while promoting sustainability and accessibility.

OUR EXPERIENCES
Naturguide Møn is a small, one-woman eco-tourism business based on the island of Møn, just 1.5 hours south of Copenhagen. The island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and certified Dark Sky Park & Community, known for its rare natural habitats, 75-million-year-old chalk cliffs, and strong local efforts to protect the night sky from light pollution.

Naturguide Møn offers private, guided nature tours that are calm, safe, and rich in sensory experiences. Each tour is led with deep respect for the environment and a gentle, inclusive approach that helps guests connect meaningfully with nature.

Accessibility needs are welcome—just share them when booking, and the experience will be tailored accordingly.

ABOUT US
Naturguide Møn is run by Susanne Rosenild, a biologist, UNESCO Biosphere Ambassador, certified Dark Sky Guide, and wild food forager. She creates year-round, eco-friendly nature experiences and supplies local hotels with sustainably foraged plants. Susanne also volunteers in Møn’s Dark Sky Community, helping protect the island’s natural darkness.

Mission:
To guide people into the wild with care—deepening their connection to nature.

Vision:
To inspire lasting appreciation for nature while supporting sustainable, year-round tourism on Møn.

Testimonial:
“The Dark Sky tour with Susanne was profound, healing, and awe-inspiring. Her deep knowledge made the experience unforgettable—seeing the Milky Way was incredible!”

OUR IMPACT
Naturguide Møn is a woman-owned eco-tourism business growing sustainably and debt-free. Founder Susanne Rosenild, a biologist and active local volunteer, shares her passion for nature through guided tours that reconnect guests with the natural world.

Tours on wild edibles help revive traditional plant knowledge and inspire simple, sustainable actions—like foraging responsibly, reducing light pollution, and leaving no trace.

The business runs from a low-impact wooden house with solar power, geothermal heating, rainwater collection, and a willow-based wastewater system. Transport is by electric car or bike.

Naturguide Møn supports three UN goals:
Goal 15 – Inspires care for nature through education and connection.
Goal 12 – Promotes sustainable foraging and low-impact living.
Goal 11 – Builds community through eco-tourism and local engagement.
