We aim to inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Aalborg and beyond.
OUR IMPACT
Kunsten Museum of Modern Art makes a significant and measurable impact on the cultural, social, and environmental landscape of Aalborg and beyond. Through innovative partnerships with healthcare institutions, universities, and municipalities, Kunsten delivers programs that promote mental well-being, social inclusion, and holistic education. Initiatives like Kulturvitaminer and Kulturkraft use art as a tool for healing and recovery, while collaborations with nursing education and youth researchers empower future caregivers and support young people's mental health through creative expression.
As Denmark’s first art museum certified as a Green Attraction, Kunsten also leads in environmental responsibility, integrating sustainability into daily operations and public engagement.
