Seminole Bee Farms

Hands-on honey and beekeeping experiences that connect visitors to pollinators, ethical farming, and small-scale conservation through immersive agritourism.

OUR EXPERIENCES

Seminole Bee Farms offers a unique, hands-on experience centered around honey, bees, and sustainability. Visitors can explore our store and taste a thoughtfully selected variety of local, national, and international honeys while learning about their origins and flavor profiles. Travelers can also participate in our Beekeeper for a Day experience, an immersive form of agritourism where guests spend a day working alongside our beekeepers on a working bee farm.

ABOUT US

Seminole Bee Farms is a family-owned business rooted in a legacy of beekeeping that began in 1970. We are dedicated to protecting pollinators through ethical beekeeping, education, and responsible bee rescue and relocation, giving colonies a second chance while preserving the ecosystems they support. Through our honey, our experiences, and our conservation efforts, we work to protect the planet, support biodiversity, and inspire a deeper respect for nature, one bee at a time.

IMPACT

Seminole Bee Farms creates measurable positive impact through pollinator conservation, education, and community-based tourism. Environmentally, we focus on responsible bee rescue and relocation, safely removing and rehoming colonies to prevent extermination and protect biodiversity. Each rescued hive directly supports healthy ecosystems and sustainable food systems.

Socially and culturally, we engage our local community through agritourism experiences, including honey tastings and hands-on visits to our bee farm, strengthening the connection between people, nature, and place. Education is at the core of our work through programs like Beekeeper for a Day, where participants gain firsthand knowledge of pollinators and environmental stewardship.

Our business model is rooted in ethical beekeeping, transparency, and sustainability, prioritizing bee health over maximum production. By integrating conservation, education, and tourism, we demonstrate how small businesses can act as caretakers of the planet while inspiring others to protect bees and the environment.
