Browsholme Hall

Preserving heritage and sustaining rural livelihoods, Browsholme Hall celebrates local culture through tours, dining, and woodland stays.

OUR EXPERIENCES
At Browsholme Hall, we offer guided tours of the historic house and gardens, luxury self-catering lodges nestled in woodland, and locally sourced café dining, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in more than 500 years of family and regional heritage. People can explore the estate’s grand rooms, stroll the 600-acre parkland and woods, stay overnight in thoughtfully designed accommodation, and enjoy fresh, locally-produced food.

ABOUT US
Browsholme Hall is the oldest surviving family home in Lancashire, where over 500 years of history, heritage, and hospitality come together on a stunning 600-acre estate. Still family-owned, the Hall welcomes visitors to experience its beautifully preserved rooms, tranquil gardens, and woodlands through guided tours, stays in our luxury woodland lodges, and fresh, locally sourced dining in our café.

OUR IMPACT
We are proud to employ members of the local rural community and to source our produce from trusted local suppliers. At Browsholme Hall, the oldest surviving family home in Lancashire, this commitment to sustainability and heritage lies at the heart of everything we do. Our team works closely with local farmers, craftspeople and small businesses to showcase the very best of the Ribble Valley. Visitors are invited to explore the historic hall, gardens, and parkland through our educational tours, which share over 500 years of family and regional history. By promoting local employment, supporting rural enterprise and celebrating our cultural landscape, we aim to preserve Browsholme’s unique legacy for future generations. In doing so, we ensure that every guest experiences not only the beauty of the estate, but also the authenticity and warmth of the community that sustains it.
