ABOUT US
Unseen Tours is dedicated to supporting people with lived experience of homelessness - from providing the opportunity for meaningful work by becoming a tour guide of London to amplifying the often unheard voices of vulnerable individuals. Curated and led by people with experience of homelessness, our tours uncover the capital city and the realities of social issues. More than just a walk, our guides lead conversations about difficult topics and challenge negative stereotypes that form public perception to generate social change. The majority of our ticket sales also go back directly to our guides, allowing them to earn a fair wage doing something they love.

OUR IMPACT
Unseen Tours empowers people with lived experience of homelessness to become tour guides of London, leading unique walks that uncover hidden gems and overlooked histories while opening up powerful conversations about homelessness. Through a supportive training process, guides gain job skills, public speaking confidence, and a renewed sense of agency. By sharing their authentic stories, they challenge assumptions, foster empathy, and break the cycle of homelessness. Our tours are more than sightseeing—they’re safe, conversational spaces where visitors can learn, reflect, and connect with the city in a new way.

Since our founding, we’ve trained 29 guides, welcomed over 30,000 visitors, and celebrated 15 years of impact in 2025. Sixty percent of every ticket sold goes directly to our guides, offering meaningful income and support. With help from funders, we also provide free tours for local organizations and schools—strengthening communities and raising awareness. Our 5-star TripAdvisor rating and 2024 Traveler’s Choice Award reflect the value of our work. English - though our King’s Cross tour guide, Ben, can also deliver private tours in Italian and French.

When are you open?
We are open all year long.

What accommodations do you make for people living with disabilities?
Our tours are fully accessible and can be adjusted to support needs (e.g. speaking slower and louder, walking slower, etc) upon request.
